Permissibility of Celebrating Mawlid from Qur'an al-Karim & Ahadith!!

Permissibility of Celebrating Mawlid
from Qur'an al-Karim & Ahadith!!

All Praises is due to Almighty Allah SubHanuhu wa Ta'ala, Peace and Blessings be upon the most perfect of creations, His Beloved Habeeb, Sayyiduna Rasoolullah SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam his Noble Family and the Illustrious Sahaba Riwanullahi Ta'ala Alaihim Ajma'een and all the pious servants of Almighty Allah SubHanuhu wa Ta'ala.

In present era we are suffering sects and scholars who imposes verdicts of Shirk and Bid’at on those who celebrate Mawlid an-Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam with great enthusiasm and integrity and due to which the simple and straightforward people who are less in knowledge of Qur’an and Hadith get nervous whether they are following the Truth or not.

Here are ample proofs from Qur'an al-Kareem and Ahadith of Beloved Prophet Peace and Blessings of Allah be Upon Him which shows beyond a shadow of a doubt that Celebrating Milad-un-Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi wa Sallam is absolutely Lawful.

..:: The Holy Qur’an Says ::..

Issa son of Maryam submitted, 'O Allah our Lord, 'sends down to us a tray of food from the heaven so that it may be an occasion of rejoicing for us, for the first and the last of us and a sign from You, and provide for us and you are the best of Providers. [Surah Al-Ma’idah, Verse 114]

The day when food is sent from skies is day of rejoicing (EID); then the day when soul of universe Peace be with him was born must be the delight for the day of rejoicing.

Look what Allah has said:

وَأَمَّا بِنِعْمَةِ رَبِّكَ فَحَدِّثْ
And publicize well the favors of your Lord. [Surah Al-Duha, Verse 11]

Allah himself commemorating Milad in Holy Qar’an as we do in our gatherings, Allah SubHanuhu wa Ta’ala Says in the Holy Qur’an:

هُوَ الَّذِي أَرْسَلَ رَسُولَهُ بِالْهُدَى وَدِينِ الْحَقِّ لِيُظْهِرَهُ عَلَى الدِّينِ كُلِّهِ وَكَفَى بِاللَّهِ شَهِيدًا
It is He Who has sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth that he may make it prevail over all other religions And Sufficient is Allah SubHanuhu wa Ta as witness. [Surah Al-Fatha, Verse 28]

And remember when Issa son of Maryam, said, 'O children of Israel, I am Allah SubHanuhu wa Ta's Messenger to you, confirming the previous Book Tourat before me and conveying the glad news of the Messenger who will come after me, his name is Ahmad! ' But when Ahmed came to them with bright signs, they said, 'this is an open magic.' [Surah As-Saf, Verse 6]

Assuredly there has come to you a messenger from among yourselves, heavy upon him is your suffering; ardently desirous of your welfare, and to Muslims is most Kind and Merciful. [Surah Tauba, Verse 128]

Undoubtedly, Allah SubHanuhu wa Ta did a great favor to the Muslims that in them from among themselves sent a Messenger who recites unto them His signs and purifies them and teaches them the Book and wisdom, and necessarily before that they were certainly in apparent error. [Surah Aal-e-Imran, Verse 164]

O people! There has come an admonition to you from your Lord, and healing of hearts, and guidance and a mercy for the believers. Say you, 'only Allah SubHanuhu wa Ta' grace and only His mercy, on it therefore let them rejoice. That is better than all their wealth. [Surah Al-Yunus, Verse 57/58]

And this is what we do, we celebrate; we rejoice; we do spend our money to show gratitude to Allah Almighty on his greatest mercy and Blessing i.e. celebrations of Milad-un-Nabi because Qur’an Says:

وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلَّا رَحْمَةً لِّلْعَالَمِينَ
And We sent not you, but a mercy for all worlds. [Surah Al-Anbiya, Verse 107]

..:: See in the light of Ahadith ::..

Let us have the opinions of Prophet (Peace be with him) who himself celebrated his Birthday. See Muslim Sharif:

Abi Qatada Ansari (Allah SubHanuhu wa Ta be pleased with him) reported that Allah SubHanuhu wa Ta's Messenger (may Peace and Blessings of Allah SubHanuhu wa Ta be Upon Him) was asked about fasting on Monday, whereupon he said: It is (the day) when I was born and revelation was sent down to me.

When beloved Prophet (Peace and Blessings be Upon him) is celebrating his birthday not yearly but every Monday then how it can be labeled as Shirk or Bid’at?

Beloved Prophet Muhammad SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam himself commemorated about his birth in numerous Ahadith. Few of them are presented below.

Holy Prophet (Peace and Blessings of Allah be Upon Him) said: “When my mother gave birth to me she saw a light proceeding from her which showed her the castles of Syria”

“I was a Noor (Light) by my creator 14000 years before the creation of Hadrat Adam (Alaihis Salaam)"

Pupil of Imam Malik and the teacher of Imam Ahmed Bin Hanbal and Hafizul Hadith Abdul Razzak Abu Bakr Bin Hamman, the teacher of the teachers of Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim, in his Book "Musannaf", has narrated from Hadrat Jabir bin Abdullah Ansari and his son (Radi Allahu Ta’ala Anhum), that he asked the Holy Messenger of Allah (Peace and Blessings of Allah be Upon Him)

O Prophet of Allah SubHanuhu wa Ta (sallAllah SubHanuhu wa Tau Alaihi wa Sallam)! My parents be sacrificed upon you, what did the Almighty Allah SubHanuhu wa Ta first create?" The Prophet (SallAllah SubHanuhu wa Tau Alaihi wa Sallam) replied: "Allah SubHanuhu wa Ta first created my Noor (Light) of His Noor. This Noor traveled about according to the Will of Allah SubHanuhu wa Ta. At that time, there was no Heaven, Hell, Lawh (Divine Tablet), Pen, Earth, Skies, Sun, Moon, Jinn or Human Beings. When He decided to create, He divided that Noor into four parts. From one part He created the Pen, from the second, the Lawh and from the third, he made the Arsh (Throne). He divided the fourth part into a further four parts. From one, He created those Angels who carry the Arsh, from the second, the Kursi (Divine Chair) and from the third, He created the Angels. He again divided the remaining parts into a further four parts. From one, He created the skies. The second was used in creating the planets. From the third, Heaven and Earth were created. Once again, He divided the fourth part into a further four parts. From one part He created the power with which the believers see. From the second, He created in the hearts of the Believers the Noor of Marifat. From the third, He created Noor in the tongues of the Believers, so that they can read the Kalima of Tauheed.

Abu Lahab was an uncle to the Prophet (SallAllah SubHanuhu wa Tau Alaihi wa Sallam). The event, which Imaam Qastalaani has referred to, is this. When a maid of Abu Lahab (Abdul 'Uzza) named Thuwaibah informed him of a son being born to his brother Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him), he (Abu Lahab) was so delighted at herring this that he pointed his finger to her in a manner which signified her emancipation for carrying the good news to him But when the holy Prophet (SallAllahu Alaihi wa Sallam) declared his Prophet hood, he (Abu Lahab) did not accept him as a Prophet but became a most severe enemy to him and remained so all his life. In condemnation of him a whole Surah of the Holy Qur’aan descended.

After his death, people of Abu Lahab's household saw him in a dream, and asked him how he had fared. To this, Abu Lahab said that after departing from them he did not meet with any good but was being given water every Monday from the finger with which he had indicated the emancipation of Thuwaibah, and this water lessened his torment.

Allama Muhammad Bin Alawai Malki have stated in his work, Houl al-IHtifal Bi Zikri Mawlid an-Nabawi Ash-Sharif:

Prophet SallAllahu Alaihi wa Sallam after announcing his prophet hood, did his Aqeeqa, not only this, he also stood on his mim’ber sharif (pulpit) and recited his Shajra (Ancestral Tree), commemorated the birth of Hadrat Adam and Status of Hadrat Ibrahim, Hadrat Esa, Hadrat Moosa Alaihimus Salam. He ordered few of his companions to recite his praise; Many of the Companions offered poems in the prominence and praise of Syyiduna Rasoolullah, He was delighted hearing this and prayed for his companions. [Houl al-iH’tifal Bi Zikri Mawlid an-Nabawi Ash-Sharif, Published in Lahore 1987]

MIRACLES AT THE BIRTH OF RASOOLALLAH (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam)

Not only did the angels, trees and the mountains rejoice at the birth of Rasoolullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) but the entire universe rejoiced. [Ahsanul Muwa’iz, pg 14]

Nisaar Teri Chehel Pehal Par
Hazaaron Eiden Rabee-ul-Awwal
Siwaa'e Iblees Ke Jahaan Mein
Sabhi To Khushiyaan Manaa Rahe Hein
(O Rabee-ul-Awwal! Your joys surpass thousands of '
Eids. All in the world are rejoicing, except Shaitaan.)

BEFORE BIRTH

Hazrat Bibi Amina (Radiallahu Ta’ala Anha), the blessed mother of the Beloved
Rasool (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) during her pregnancy informed the household members that she was often being visited by angels and previous Prophets who announced that the child in her womb was Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam), the Promised Prophet, through whom the world would be blessed. They thought that perhaps some evil spirits might be appearing to Hazrat Bibi Amina (Radiallahu Ta’ala Anha), so just a few days before the birth, they chained her up so that the handcuffs and the chains made of iron would act as charms to ward off the evil spirits.

That night an aged man came to her. He touched the iron of the handcuffs and chains and they broke and fell away from her neck and hands. She asked him who he was and he replied, “Ibrahim Khaleelullah” i.e. Hazrat Ibrahim (Alaihis Salaam). Hazrat Ibrahim (Alaihis Salaam) explained that the reason for the visit of angels and earlier Prophets to her were due to the fact that she was to be the mother of the Promised Prophet.

AT BIRTH

Hazrat Bibi Amina (Radiallahu Ta’ala Anha) stated that as soon as the labour pains of child birth started, an angel came and asked her to drink from a cup in his hand. This drink was whiter than milk and sweeter than honey. As soon as she drank this heavenly drink her pain disappeared and all fear left her. [Ajaibal Kassas, vol 2, pg 43-44]

Hazrat Bibi Amina (Radiallahu Ta’ala Anha) then saw the gates of heaven open. The angels came down for the adoration of the new baby. Three angels went towards the Kaabah. One angel placed a flag over the Kaabah, another went to the East and placed a flag and the third went to the West and placed a flag. A light then spread out lighting up the universe. In this miraculous light, Hazrat Bibi Amina (Radiallahu Ta’ala Anha) stated that she could see distinctly the palaces of Palestine and Syria. Subhaanallah! [Ahsanul Muwa’iz, pg 18-19]

Then four ladies appeared miraculously before Hazrat Bibi Amina (Radiallahu Ta’ala Anha) to attend to the birth of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam). The first, who was very tall, said she was Hazrat Bibi Hawa (Radiallahu Ta’ala Anha), the mother of mankind. The second was Hazrat Bibi Sarah (Radiallahu Ta’ala Anha), the mother of Hazrat Ishaaq (Alaihis Salaam), the third was Hazrat Bibi Hajira (Radiallahu Ta’ala Anha), the mother of Hazrat Ismail (Alaihis Salaam) and she came with Otto, a sweet-smelling essence from heaven to express her love for this child. The fourth person was Hazrat Asiya (Radiallahu Ta’ala Anha), the wife of Fir’oun. She was the Queen of Egypt who brought up Hazrat Moosa (Alaihis Salaam) from a little child when he was found floating in the basket on the river and she was the first person in Fir’oun’s court to believe in Allah.

In the hands of these four great nurses was the Mercy unto all the worlds, Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) born, with his foreskin already circumcised miraculously, his navel already separated miraculously from his mother’s body, and his body miraculously pure and clean without any kind of blood or impurity. [Tafrihul Askia Fil Ahwalul Ambia, vol 2, pg 10-13]

AFTER BIRTH

Immediately upon birth, the child did prostration to Allah Ta’ala and with his right index finger raised, miraculously recited the following words in a clear voice:

“Ash hadu al la Ilaaha Illallaahu Ana Muhammadur Rasoolullah. Ya Rabbi Habli Ummati.” “I give evidence that none is worthy of worship except Allah, I am Muhammad the Messenger of Allah. O Sustainer (of the Universe) bless me (and) those who follow me.”

At once Allah Ta’ala spoke to His Beloved and replied (translation from Arabic):
“I have blessed you (O Muhammad) and those who follow you. O Angels, be ye witnesses of the fact that when he has not forgotten his followers upon his birth, then how can he forget them on the Day of Judgment.” [Ajaibul Kassas, vol 2, pg 44]

Three angels then appeared. One of them took a seal and marked the right shoulder and handed over the child to Hazrat Bibi Amina (Radiallahu Ta’ala Anha). A voice then announced, “Ruler of the whole universe, the universe is your slave.” When Hazrat Bibi Amina (Radiallahu Ta’ala Anha)looked upon the face of the blessed child it was shining like a full moon and perfume of the finest Otto was coming from his blessed body.

A white cloud then appeared inexplicably and covered him and took him away saying, “O animals on the face of the earth, fishes in the seas, and the trees, remember the name of this child (Muhammad) and recognise him well. He has combined in himself all the wonderful and good qualities that were in all the Prophets that have come on earth from Hazrat Adam to Hazrat Esa (Alaihimus Salaam)” When the cloud returned and replaced the child, he was clothed in green silk.

Hazrat Abdul Mutallib (Radiallahu Ta’ala Anh), the grandfather of Rasoolullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) was at the Ka’bah at this early hour. All of a sudden the walls of the Ka’bah bowed miraculously before Maqaame-Ibrahim, where Hazrat Ibrahim (Alaihis Salaam) had stood and prayed during the building of the Ka’bah. Then the Ka’bah spoke as follows (translation from Arabic):

“Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, He is the Sustainer of Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam), who will purify the Ka’bah from idols and idolatry and restore it to the House of Allah.

Amina (Radiallahu Ta’ala Anha) has just given birth to this child.”

Hazrat Abdul Mutallib (Radiallahu Ta’ala Anh) hearing the walls of the Ka’bah talk and seeing all the idols fall, ran home to verify if the blessed child had been born. He did not find Noor-e-Muhammadi shining from Hazrat Bibi Amina’s Radiallahu Ta’ala Anha) forehead.

He thus knew the child had been born so he asked Hazrat Bibi Amina (Radiallahu Ta’ala Anha) to please show him his grandchild. Hazrat Bibi Amina (Radiallahu Ta’ala Anha) replied that Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) was in the next room but nobody could see him for three days as the angels and the dwellers of heaven were paying homage to him. Hazrat Abdul Mutallib (Radiallahu Ta’ala Anh) wanted to tell the Makkans about the miraculous bowing of the Ka’bah and the adoration of the blessed child by the inhabitants of heaven but was strangely dumbstruck for three days and could not tell anyone. [Tafrihul Askia Fil Ahwalul Ambia, vol 2, pg 14]

INCIDENTS IN MAKKAH

There were a number of people at the Ka’bah at the time of the birth of
the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) when all the idols fell prostrate. Some of the people picked up and erected the fallen idols but the idols again fell down on their faces. They propped them up again but the idols collapsed for the third time. One of the persons present, Osman bin Habiras said to his companions that something very serious must have happened, causing the idols to fall repeatedly. In reply, the idols miraculously spoke in Arabic and said the following:

“We idols (all over the earth) have fallen down to bow to a child just born, whose light has lit the universe from East to West. All idols all over the world have fallen (at the exact time of the birth of the Promised Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam), with a view to honour this child!
Emperors of the earth have been frightened tonight. The Emperor of Persia was grief-stricken and the (Magi) fire quenched. Stopped forever is the heavenly information by which the jinns used to foretell. O Children of Quassa leave aside idolatry and come towards Islam, so that ye may become owners of the garden of eternal bliss.” [Ahsanul Muwa’iz, pg 25]

These idols remained prostrate on the floor for a full twenty-four hours. Any effort to pick them up and to erect them throughout the world was unsuccessful. It was only the next day that they were refitted and this was witnessed by thousands of people worldwide.

After three days Hazrat Abdul Mutallib (Radiallahu Ta’ala Anh) took his grandchild to the Ka’bah and named him Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam). As soon as the child was taken to the Ka’bah for the naming ceremony, the four corners of the walls of the Ka’bah spoke and declared:

“There is none worthy of worship except Allah and Muhammad is the Seal of Prophethood.”

INCIDENTS IN PERSIA
At the date and time of the birth of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi
Wasallam) the following miracles took place in Persia:

1) The fire in the Magi temple of the Zoroastrians which had been alight for thousands of years
became quenched for the first time in history.

2) Fourteen towers of the royal palace of Nausherwan, the Emperor of Persia, broke and fell.

3) The famous stone, on which the fabulous throne of Persia was kept, cracked.

4) The deep and fast flowing river Sawa in the Persian Empire dried up instantly.

5) The river Samawa in the Persian Empire which had been dry for the past thousand years or
more started flowing immediately.

6) The tower of the palace on the River Tigris, which was built so strongly that nothing could
damage it for hundreds of years, broke and fell to the amazement of all, without any logical
reason.

INCIDENTS IN YEMEN
There lived in Yemen a man named Amer, who was praying with his wife
before an idol. At the time of the birth of Rasoolullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) he saw a Noor (light) spreading light from East to West and from North to South. In this light he saw the gates of heaven open. Many angels descended, prostrating themselves.. In this light he saw the trees and the hills also prostrating themselves. Then the idol in front of him fell on its face. As he went to lift the idol it said:

The Promised Prophet, whose coming was being looked forward to for hundreds of years, has just been born. The trees and the stones shall speak with him. For his sake the moon will split into two..”

So shocked was Amer that he asked his wife if she also heard what he did. She answered, “Yes, but please ask the idol where this child has been born and what is his name.” The idol informed them that the child’s name was Muhammad Mustafa (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam), he had been born in Makkah and that it would be he, through whom the whole universe would be blessed. Amer had a deformed da ughter who was also seeing and hearing all that was taking place. Consequently, she prayed aloud, “O Allah, in the name of Muhammad who has just been born, I pray that I be cured.”

At once she was completely cured. Subhaanallah!

So impressed were they all at this miracle performed by merely taking his name, the family journeyed to Makkah to pay homage to this blessed child. They traced Hazrat Abdul Mutallib (Radiallahu Ta’ala Anh) and asked him to show them this amazing child named Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasllam). On seeing the marvellous face of Muhammad Mustafa (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) Amer collapsed out of joy and died on the spot. [Ahsanul Muwa’iz, pg 23-24]

INCIDENTS IN ROME
The Roman Emperor Justin II was frightened on the date of the birth of
Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam). When he went into the Royal Chapel to pray on that morning he was surprised to find that the statue of Jesus Christ had very strangely come out of its firm base and was lying on the ground. It reminded him of the foretelling of Hazrat Esa (Alaihis Salaam) that on the day of the birth of the Promised Prophet all idols all over the world would fall
down. As he lifted up the statue it again fell on its face on the floor and declared:

“A child has been born with his foreskin circumcised miraculously. This child would be the greatest personage to come on earth and he would be from amongst the circumcised people. This baby was not from a Jewish family but from the brethren of the Jews. He would be a destroyer of idols and would lay the foundation for the destruction of idolatry. Those who would not listen to his teachings would be losers in this earth and in the hereafter. He would be the light of learning, which would be the cause of filling the earth with wisdom and knowledge and removing the darkness of ignorance.”

Subhaanallah! May Allah Ta’ala grant us all the true love and respect for Nabi-e-Karim (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) and may we be blessed with the opportunity of spending the 12th of Rabiul Awwal in front of the Rauza-e-Mubarak of our Beloved Master Muhammad Mustafa (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam), Ameen.

RasoolALLAH(sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) is Hazir-o-Nazir

RasoolALLAH(sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) is Hazir-o-Nazir

Introduction

Before we proceed further into this topic, it is important to understand the meaning of the terms Hazir and Nazir.
Hazir means to be present, either physically or spiritually.Nazir means to see or witness with one’s own eyes.

Now it is clear that one cannot be Nazir without being Hazir, as you cannot witness something if you are not there.

What does the Holy Qur’an say?
The Holy Qur’an says about Rasulallah :

  1. O Prophet! The Communicator of Unseen news, no doubt, We have sent you as a present beholder and bearer of glad tiding and a warner.
    (
    Surah Al-Ahzab, Ayat 45)
  2. "Then how shall it be, when We bring up a witness from every nation, and O Beloved Muhammad! We will bring you as a witness and a guardian against all those."
    (
    Surah An-Nisaa, Ayat 41)
Notice that the Holy Qur’an addresses Rasulallah as a witness in these verses. Additionally, the second verse addresses our Beloved Prophet as a witness to all the nations on earth.
From this, it is clear to us that Rasulallah was present before his physical birth, so was able to witness the actions of every nation before and after.

After all, witness can only be someone who is Hazir & Nazir.
Refutation
The following verses from the Holy Qur’an are often wrongly quoted in an effort to prove that Rasulallah was not Hazir and Nazir before his physical birth:
"These are the tidings of unseen that We reveal to you in secret. And you were not with them when they drew lots with their pen that under whose guardianship Mary should be given, and you were not with them when they were disputing."
(Surah Al-i'Imran, Ayat 44)
"And nor you were at the side of Tur, when We called, yes it is the mercy from your Lord (He gave you the knowledge of the Unseen) that you may warn a people to whom no warner came before you, haply they may be admonished." (S28 V46)

Indeed, Rasulallah was not present physically at these events, but this is not to say that he was not Nazir (witnessing) these events.
On the contrary, he would definitely have been witnessing these events; otherwise this would contradict the previous Quranic Verses, which address Rasulallah as a witness to all nations.

And as he was Nazir, (witnessing) he must have been Hazir (present) spiritually.
Further proof from the Holy Qur’an:
  1. O beloved! Have you not seen how your Lord dealt with the men of the Elephant?
    (
    Surah Al-Pheel, Ayat 1)

This event took place many days before the birth of Rasulallah .
  2. 'Have you not seen what did your Lord with Aad?'
    (Surah Al-Fajr, Ayat 6)

The tribe of Aad lived many centuries before the advent of Rasulallah on this earth.
It is clear from these verses of the Holy Qur’an, that Rasulallah did in fact see these events, and so one must admit that our Beloved Rasulallah was therefore present and seeing these events i.e. he was Hazir and Nazir. In addition to this, the Holy Prophet witnessed these events before his earthly advent.
Notice that the words of the Holy Qur’an do not say ‘do you not know’ or ‘did you not hear’ or ‘were you not told’. Instead, it says to our beloved Rasulallah , ‘have you not seen?’

Common sense tells us that there is a major difference between seeing an event and being told about an event.

Rasulallah ’s divine knowledge

Sayyidina Umar states "
In one Friday sermon, Rasulallah informed us about everything which has happened or will happen from the very beginning of time until the Hereafter when some will inhabit Paradise while the others Hell."
(Bukhari Sharif)
This Hadith Sharif makes it clear that Rasulallah has witnessed everything in the past, present and future.
Hazrat Ibn Abbas reports that Rasulallah said, "I know everything which is in the Heavens and the Earth, from the East to the West."
(Tirmidhi Sharif)
This Hadith Sharif raises the question that, how can Rasulallah know everything about the Heavens and Earth as they continuously change - unless Rasulallah constantly observes the conditions of the Heavens and the Earth? Therefore, Rasulallah was, is and always will be Hazir and Nazir.
Rasulallah had elevated some of his companions to such a state, that even those Companions were ever seeing the Heavens and the Earth.
Imam e Azam, Imam Abu Hanifa writes that Hazrat Haaris Ibn La'man and Hazrat Haarisa bin Na'man stated, "Once I went to Rasulallah . Rasulallah asked me a question, 'O Haaris, in what state did you pass the day?' I replied 'as a true Muslim'. Then Rasulallah asked me the state of my faith.
I replied 'I see the Throne of Allah and the people of Paradise helping each other and the people of Hell lamenting in Hell. I see in front of me eight Heavens and seven Hells as clear as idol worshippers see their idols. I can recognise each individual just like a miller can recognise wheat from barley, even who is to go to Paradise and who is to be found in Hell. In front of me, people are like fish and ants. Shall I stay silent or continue to speak?'
Rasulallah then told him to stop and say no more.
(Fiqah-Al-Akbar)
Now the question arises, wasn't this Companion Hazir and Nazir when he witnessed the inmates of Paradise and Hell? Of course! So if a companion of Rasulallah can be present and witnessing in such a manner, then what of the vision of Sayyidina Rasulallah ?

Words of the Pious
Allamah Ahmed Qastalani , commentator of Bukhari Sharif, writes in his book Mawahib Ladunya and Imam Muhammad Ibni Hajar Makki writes in his book Madkhal, "There is no difference between the states of life and death of Rasulallah , in his seeing his entire Ummah and his recognising of their states, their intentions and their minds, and all this is clear to him; there is no secret thereof to him."
(Mawahib Ladunya p.32, Madkhal p.21)
Hazrat Qadi Ayyaz , the well-known author of Shifa, writes "Whenever there is nobody present in the home and you enter the home, recite "Assalamu Alaika Ayyuhan Nabi Warahmatullah Wa Barakatuh" - meaning "Peace be upon you, O Messenger of Allah, and Allah's blessings be upon you."
(Shifa Sharif)
Mullah Ali Qari , the great Islamic scholar, substantiates on the above, by writing in his Shareh Shifa, "The reason for saluting Rasulallah (in the present tense) is that the Holy Prophet ’s soul is Hazir (present) in every Muslim home."
(Shareh Shifa)
There are over a billion Muslim homes throughout the world, and according to these great Islamic scholars, Rasulallah is present in every Muslim home. Does this not prove that Rasulallah is Haazir in many places at the same time as well as Naazir?
Imam Ghazali , the seal of Islam, a great scholar and a Sufi master writes, "When you go into a mosque, say salaam to Rasulallah because Rasulallah is present (Hazir) in mosques."
(Mirqat - Shareh Miskat)
Again, there are thousands, if not millions, of Mosques situated around the world and in all mosques Rasulallah is present spiritually. When the Holy Prophet is Hazir then he is also witnessing and therefore he is Nazir as well.
It has been reported in the famous book, Tafseer-e-Roohul Bayan, that Imam Ghazali stated, "Rasulallah and his Companions' souls have been given the right to travel the world and many Awliya Allah have seen Rasulallah ."
(Tafseer-e-Roohul Bayaan - Surah Malak)
Again Imam Ghazali , regarding the position of Tashahud (sitting during Salat and reciting 'At-Tahiyyat '), says that on reciting the words 'Ayyuhan Nabi' (meaning ‘O Messenger’), the reciter must behold Rasulallah as Hazir.
Imam Ghazali says, “
And believe in your hearts that Rasulallah is present (Hazir) and then say Assalamu Alaika Ayyuhan Nabi.''
(Ihya'ul-Uloom Vol. 1 Section 3)
The significance of saying ‘Assalamu Alaika Ayyuhan Nabi’

Scholars from deviant sects will often say that the words ‘Assalamu Alaika Ayyuhan Nabi’ have no significance and that it is only recited because it is stated in the Hadith Sharif. However, these claims are completely untrue as Islam never instructs us to do something without proper reason.

Below is a list of quotes from great Islamic scholars explaining the significance of the words ‘Assalamu Alaika Ayyuhan Nabi’.
Hazrat Sheikh Abdul Haqq Muhaddith Dehlvi , the 30th in line of the Golden Naqshbandi Sufi Order says, ''In Attahiyat, the reason for reciting ‘Ayyuhan Nabi’ is that Haqqiqat-e-Muhammadi (Reality of Rasulallah ) is present in every little thing. Therefore, it is present in the people praying Salat, and those performing the Salat should be fully aware of this fact and should not pay attention to anything except for Rasulallah ’s presence.''
(Madarijun Nabuwat Vol. 1 part 4 - Zikre Fazaalileh Nabi )
Imam Jalaluddin Suyuti says, "To keep watch of his own followers' work and to pray for their forgiveness; to pray for their abstention from bad deeds; to come and go in all parts of the world; to give auspiciousness; if one pious person from his Ummah dies, to attend his Janaza (funeral), all this is done by Rasulallah ."
(Intibahul Azkiyya)
Imam Suyuti further states, ''If someone believes, that, while performing Milad Sharif, or at the end of Ramadan or while reciting Qasida (Naat Sharif), that Rasulallah ’s soul is present on these occasions, this is perfectly acceptable."
(Shareh Sudoor)
Now it has been made clear that Rasulallah can be present spiritually, and even be Hazir at more than one place at a time. After the previous insight into this topic, any Muslim with logic and a heart open to truth can understand this with no difficulty.

The Holy Prophet ’s physical presence

Furthermore, the Ahle Sunnat wal Jamaat (the rightly guided group) also believe that Rasulallah can even present himself physically.
Hazrat Sheikh Abdul Haqq Muhaddith Dehlvi states, ‘Allah Ta'ala has given Rasulallah the strength and power to go anywhere he wishes, he can go with his own body or only in soul.
(Madarigun Nabuwat Vol.2 Part 4 Wasle Hayaate Ambiya)
Hazrat Abdul Karim Ibn Ibrahim Al Jili is a descendant of the great Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani . Sheikh Jili provides us with a mind-blowing insight into the reality of Rasulallah in his book, The Perfect Man. Here we shall quote Sheikh Jili on this subject alone.

He writes "
His original name is Muhammad , his name of honour is Abu'l Qasim, his description Abdullah, and his title Shamsuddin. In every age, he bears a name suitable to his guise in that age. I once met him in the form of my Sheikh". He further writes, "The truth of the matter is that Rasulallah has the power of assuming every form (in every age)."
(Al Insanul Kamil)
Finally, take heed of what the King of Saints has said on this subject.
Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani , writing about Rasulallah , says, "
He is called the Total Intellect, because he saw and understood everything."
(Sirr al-asrar)
Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani further writes, "The soul of Rasulallah is watching you. He is pained, at seeing your state."
(Sirral-asrar)
Inshallah we believe this provides more than enough proof that our beloved Aaqa is Hazir and Nazir, and subhanallah they are present and watching over us at all times. The quotes given here are from authentic sources and references have also been provided.

Only one who is serious about finding the Siraatul Mustaqeem (the Right Path) will comprehend and accept, as ignorant people will continuously struggle against righteousness.
One should always bear in mind that those who deny something when irrefutable proofs are presented are of the foolish people.
